This shoot is a journey. It's about the ups and downs we face as human beings. It's about the moments of struggle, success, and defeat. Being human is hard. No one has an easy life. Our mental state is key to accomplishing anything.
David did a beautiful job lighting this shoot. The key light comes from above creating a sense that something magical lies at the top of the ladder. This simultaneously creates shadows and darkness at the bottom of the ladder alluding to a sense of failure and defeat.
Hannah Grace did a killer job of bringing our vision to life and fully embodying the all encompassing feelings of each step of the journey.
