Designing and building this set for our fine art nude photoshoot was a crazy rollercoaster ride of emotions! It was one of those projects that had us feeling all sorts of self-doubt, but we pushed through and made some design changes to bring our vision to life.
Our set was periwinkle blue and contained elements of forced perspective and optical illusions. We wanted to create a space that was not only visually stunning, but also embodied feelings of hope and possibility.
We don't have a studio of our own anymore, so we built the set at home then rented a studio on Peerspace to do the photoshoot.
The process of designing and building the set was challenging, but the end results were definitely worth it. The photos we produced were ethereal and embodied feelings of self-love and unity of spirit. We were able to push past our initial doubts and create something truly special.
This project taught us a lot about the power of perseverance and adaptability in the creative process. We learned that it's important to be open to changing your plans and rolling with the punches in order to achieve the best possible outcome. It was a challenging project, but it ultimately allowed us to create something truly unique and beautiful.
