Dry Rocks Shoot #1 With The Pink Axe

Every day for the past 3 weeks, David and I have gone to the river. We initially started going to the river to bring more balance to our lives and get a little movement in. To our surprise, the river began to inspire us more than we expected.

For the first time in a year and a half, we felt compelled to make some art outside of the studio. We wanted to bring aspects of the work we created inside the studio outdoors and explore how those ideas can exist in the natural world.

It felt so good to try something new and explore a new style. This may be the start of a new body of work - who knows. We are calling this our Dry Rocks Series.
