The Making of UNDRESSED BTS Video

Watch as we create our conceptual photo series “UNDRESSED”. This series is about freeing yourself from something that is no longer serving you. Watch us construct our set, light the shoot, and then come behind the scenes with us and watch me direct the photoshoot. We play through wild scenarios like being attacked by bees and fighting with a best friend. My approach to photoshoot directing creates some BIG emotion.

We designed a set to look like a dressing room and then played through some dramatic situations to create big emotions and evoke a sense of intense struggle.

Photoshoot scenario #1:

Stepping on a bee hive and getting attacked by bees inside the dress.

Photoshoot Scenario #2:

Found an old dress in the attic and tried it on. It’s infested with spiders and they are crawling all over you inside the dress.

Photoshoot Scenario #3:

This dress weighs 1,000 lbs. It’s so heavy but you have to get it off.

Photoshoot Scenario #4:

The dress is your best friend but things have become toxic and you are in a giant fight.

Photoshoot Scenario #5:

Act like you have never seen a dress before.

What do you think? Did my crazy directing technique work?!
