First Date With Harley Quinn Smith + Austin Zajur

This blog post is a part of our 100 set project! Set 74/100. Click here to learn more.

First dates are either magical or incredibly awkward. Regardless of how the date plays out there is always a nervous, anxious energy about them. They are a rite of passage. Anyone who is looking for love is forced to experience a handful of awkward first dates.

We designed this set to look like a diner. This was one of the first shoots where we experimented with scale. We shrunk the set down to create larger than life characters and add humor.

The models in this shoot are two of my all time favorite human beings! Austin is my little brother and Harley is his girlfriend. They fully embraced the concept and really played up those awkward first date experiences.

This was set 74 in our 100 set project, and it definitely goes down in the books as one of our favorites! Check it the behind-the-scenes of this set build!
