Why not build a set a drive it all the way across the United States? Sounds like a good time to me!
We built this set in Richmond, Virginia, and drove it to Los Angeles, California to have it on display and do live photoshoots on it during a party. For us, photo shoots are a pretty social thing. Our sets and shoots are loud, colorful, and exciting. There is dynamic creativity to them and they naturally become a collaborative experience, so a party is in many ways the perfect setting for our shoots.
Each guest's photo shoot lasted about 5-10 minutes and became an exercise in creative storytelling. How can we make each of these shoots different from one another? What different narratives can we create through slight variation in the modular space?
We used props, lighting, and posing to create variation and change the tone of each shoot.
