There’s nothing more disappointing than spending hours color-correcting photos—making sure everything is balanced yet bold—only to have them printed and the colors come out dull, muted, and unsaturated. We’ve been through a lot of different printers over the years, and none of them did our photos justice…until we came across Bay Photo.
We needed prints for one of our gallery shows, and the curator suggested we try printing on Hahnemühle Photo Rag because of its archival properties and how it really shows off color. So, we did some research and found Bay Photo. We decided to do a test print with them, and when it arrived, we were blown away. The colors were so accurate and vibrant, exactly how we intended. Since then, we've used Bay Photo for all our gallery shows, client work, and even personal projects.
We were especially excited when Bay Photo asked if they could display some of our work at Imaging USA. They had an 8x20 wall showcasing our photos, printed in so many different formats—from framed fine art prints to metal prints and canvases.
We couldn’t make it to Imaging USA this year, but we were so grateful that the Bay Photo team (and a few of our Instagram friends) sent us photos of the display. It was amazing to see our work printed in so many ways. It’s made David and me want to explore even more printing options with them in the future.
This isn’t an ad or anything—Bay Photo just does exceptional work. So, if you ever need high-quality prints, we definitely recommend them.
