Introducing The Creativity Reset Workbook

Blog by Jada Parrish | News | 01/08/25

Three years ago, David and I started journaling every morning. I had always heard that journaling could help with emotional well-being, but what surprised me most was how much it unlocked our creativity. Our daily practice became more than just a way to reflect—it became a source of some of our best creative ideas.

It’s been amazing to look back and realize how many of our most inspired concepts for photoshoots and set designs came during our journaling sessions. Journaling has helped us approach our creative work with a fresh perspective, and it’s become an essential part of our process.

This past New Year’s Eve, we rented a tiny cabin in the woods— on 75 acres of peace and quiet. We wanted to start the new year with some intentional self-reflection, away from the noise of everyday life.

While we were there, something clicked. As we reflected on the past few years, we realized that our journaling practice had taught us so much about creativity, and we wanted to share those lessons in a way that could help others.

That’s when the idea for The Creativity Reset Workbook was born.

We’ve learned a lot about how journaling can be a powerful tool for creative growth. Creativity is like a muscle—the more you exercise it, the stronger it becomes. With that in mind, we created a 28-day workbook filled with daily 15-minute exercises and journal prompts, each designed to teach you key lessons on creativity and help you unlock new creative potential.

The Creativity Workbook covers lessons like:

  • Creative collaboration
  • Working within limitations
  • Reframing challenges
  • Positive self-talk
  • Staying present
  • Creative problem-solving techniques

Each day’s exercise or prompt is designed to help you flex your creative muscles and apply these lessons in fun, engaging ways. Whether you're feeling uninspired, stuck in a creative rut, or simply looking for new ways to tap into your creative flow, this workbook will guide you through practical exercises and introspective journaling.

The Creativity Reset Workbook is perfect for anyone—whether you're an artist, a writer, a musician, or someone who just wants to be more creative in daily life. By the end of the 28 days, you’ll have built a deeper connection with your creative self and learned how to think differently, overcome challenges, and embrace new ideas.

This workbook is the culmination of what we’ve learned about creativity through our own practice, and we hope it helps you discover new ways to explore your imagination and express yourself. Ready to reset your creativity?
